What makes humor therapeutic? What activates your sense of humor? How do you become a humor being? How do you distinguish between therapeutic humor, humor in general and hostile humor? This lively program will answer these core questions and provide a solid framework that will help you synthesize the material presented throughout the conference.

In this chapter of your Humor Academy Journey you will learn the theory, rationale, and practical application of therapeutic humor, and will learn the health impact (for you and others) of becoming a therapeutic humor being.

You will learn 1) the central model that illustrates how and why the experience of humor (which activates laughter, mirth, and wit) can be therapeutic, 2) the universal stimuli that activate your funny bone, 3) the core human qualities that are critical for the communication of therapeutic humor, and 4. the significance of intentional and purposeful humor. Be prepared for lots of learning, laughter, and tickling your funny bone. (Now that IS ‘Humerus.’)
