A retired communication teacher’s look back at his career and ahead to his future, while considering the role humor has played in his success as a teacher and public speaker.  In doing so, he will offer advice to those audience members who have desired, but feared entering the world of professional speaking.  He will discuss practical strategies for overcoming speech apprehension. and how  incorporating humor into one’s message, not only entertains but enhances the impact and retention of that message. If you have ever envision taking the stage as a presenter at AATH, then hopefully his message will inspire you to do so.  After all, it is never “too soon” to try.
