In this session "tickled" with cartoons, props, videos, stories, and thought-provoking content, we will explore the "timing" of humor particularly as it relates to crisis situations.  We will examine the temporal, proximal, and emotional factors that influence one's receptivity to humor during a crisis and that impact when a humor practitioner chooses to offer therapeutic humor.  We will also explore general factors that influence the timing of therapeutic humor, as well as the timing factors that influence "human recovery' during a crisis.
